Information we collect

When you contact us or book a tour, we may collect your name and contact details (email address, phone number), tour preferences and group size, preferred tour dates, and any special requests or requirements you share with us.

When you visit the website, certain information may be collected automatically: IP address and device information, browser type and operating system, pages visited and time spent, and referring website addresses.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience. Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law, we inform you about our use of these technologies.

Essential cookies are required for the website to function and cannot be disabled. Beyond those, there are two things worth naming, and only one of them asks for your consent.

Measurement: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not identify you or follow you to other websites. Visitors are counted using a short-lived hash derived from the request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours, and we only ever see aggregate totals such as how many people opened a tour page. Because nothing is stored on your device and nobody is identified, this runs without a consent prompt. Our web server also keeps ordinary request logs, as any website does, to operate the site and defend it against abuse.

WhatsApp chat: the chat widget is provided by a third party (Elfsight), and this is the part we ask about. Loading it stores values in your browser and sends your IP address, browser type, and the page you are viewing to Elfsight, which states it keeps that for seven days for diagnostics. Until you accept, we show a plain WhatsApp link instead, which contacts nobody until you tap it. You can always reach us by WhatsApp, phone, email, or our contact form without accepting anything.

Your choice about the chat widget is stored in your browser, and you can change or withdraw it at any time using the "Your current choice" control on this page. Withdrawing takes effect immediately: we stop loading the widget, clear what it stored, and reload the page so nothing already running keeps running. Clearing your browsing data for this site also resets the choice and the notice will appear again. You can additionally view, delete, or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to respond to enquiries and provide customer support, to process and confirm tour bookings, to communicate with you about your tours, to improve the website and services, and to comply with legal obligations.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help operate the website (hosting, analytics), when required by law or to protect our rights, or otherwise only with your explicit consent.

Data security and retention

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 2 years unless you request earlier deletion.

Your rights under Israeli law

Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion (subject to legal exceptions), object to processing for direct marketing, and withdraw consent you have previously given.
