Ilya has lived in Israel for more than 36 years and has guided private trips for more than 20. He studied history, Middle Eastern studies, and sports education at Tel Aviv University and the Wingate Institute. Since 2016 he has been a licensed tour guide certified by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, and since 2011 a certified cycling tour guide.

I specialize in creating exclusive historical, religious, and cultural experiences for discerning guests. As a professional driver licensed to transport up to 16 passengers, I offer tours in my luxury 8-seater vehicle, ensuring comfort and safety throughout your journey.

Languages on the van: Hebrew, English, German, and Russian. Typical days include Jerusalem and Bethlehem, Masada and the Dead Sea, Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee, Tel Aviv and Jaffa, and cruise shore excursions from Ashdod and Haifa.

What you can expect

Every itinerary is private. There is no merging with other parties, no waiting on a coach, and no script that ignores your group. Pickup is arranged from hotels, cruise ports, or a point you name. Group size is capped by the vehicle — typically up to eight guests in the luxury van, with a professional driver licence covering up to 16 passengers when a larger vehicle is required.
