A Christian itinerary in Israel is really two regions. Jerusalem and Bethlehem hold the Passion and the Nativity: the Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, the Via Dolorosa, the Holy Sepulchre, and the Church of the Nativity. Galilee holds the ministry: Nazareth, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, and the Jordan River at Yardenit. A private guide lets you give each the time your group wants rather than the time a coach schedule allows.

Ilya guides these sites for church groups, families, and individual pilgrims, in English, German, Russian, or Hebrew. He is licensed by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, which means he guides inside the churches and archaeological parks rather than handing you to a site guide at the door.

Pickup is from your hotel or any address you name, in a private 8-seat vehicle with Ilya driving. Cruise guests are collected at Ashdod for Jerusalem or Haifa for Galilee.

### Can the day include Mass or a baptism?

Yes. Tell Ilya in advance and he plans the route around a service at the Holy Sepulchre, the Nativity, or the Annunciation, or a baptism at Yardenit on the Jordan River.

### Is the guide Christian?

Ilya guides all faiths and is used to explaining Christian sites with their scripture and history side by side. Pastors and priests travelling with a group are welcome to lead prayer at each stop.

### How many days does a full Christian itinerary need?

Two days cover the core: one for Jerusalem and Bethlehem, one for Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee. A third adds the Dead Sea, Masada, and Jericho.

### What is the cancellation policy?
